Family Photoshoot at The Avalon, Grand Cayman
I have a goal for 2026 and that is to do photoshoots with families all over Grand Cayman. One place that I was missing and on my list for the new year was The Avalon on Seven Mile Beach. However, Ross and Kelsey made that happen when they reached out to me.
A perfect sunset for a perfect session. There are only a few times where I can truly say that a session was perfect and this was one of them.
Normally, I encourage potential clients to reach out and book as soon as possible because I enjoy the process of getting to know who they are and what makes their family different and unique. Immediately after booking with me, I will send out a short questionnaire so I can get to know you and tailor your session to your preferences. Shooting unique, candid and real moments is so important to me because I aim to give you timeless images that hold their genuineness through the years.
Believe it or not, this session was not planned for. There was no weeks of planning, no questionnaire filled out, no time to sit down and go through a solid game plan; however, that did not stop us from capturing beautiful moments. Life goes fast sometimes and that is okay, and although this session was booked only a couple days in advance, we created incredible lasting memories that will be treasured forever. I love capturing moments as they unfold. Allowing a family to be themselves and be free in front of the camera will always feel more personal to me than a carefully and methodically staged photo (which if that’s your vibe, then that’s great too!)
I was so honored to capture Ross and Kelsey’s family as they visited the Cayman Islands and I can’t wait to work with them again!
