Wedding in Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman

If you know me, you know that I love a first look, and this wedding in Seven Mile Beach did not disappoint!

I absolutely love it when couples want to think outside the box when it comes to their weddings or elopements in Grand Cayman. While traditional weddings are beautiful and classic, there is something special about changing up aspects of the timeless wedding day. When I met with Syd and JP, one of the first things they said to me was that they did not want their wedding to be a stressful and long day. They wanted to fully be able to take the pressure off of the ceremony and enjoy each other’s company before the big day. They wanted to do a first look in a private location where they could take in the beauty of Seven Mile Beach and create memories that would last a lifetime.

While finding a beach that is empty is nearly impossible in Cayman, this spot specifically has never failed me. The sunset is incredible, the water and waves are calm and relaxing, the sand is white and so clean, and the beach itself is wide and spacious making it the perfect spot not only for weddings, but elopements and family sessions. When I recommended this beach to Sydney and JP, they fell in love with it instantly.

One day prior to the wedding day, we headed out to the beach and we had the first look on the shore. I positioned JP in the perfect spot so he could see Syd as she emerged from the trees. Needless to say, they had a beautiful moment, shared a hug and kiss and we got started on their bridal photos.

The following day, I headed to the villas where they were staying and having the wedding and was able to capture an incredibly emotional, intimate and special ceremony which they shared with their closest friends and families.
